Shalinee Kulshreshtha has diversified experience in the field of Litigation, Contracts, Mergers & Acquisitions, Data Privacy, Cyber laws, Competition Law, Integrity and Ethics, Employment law, Compliances, IPR & Corporate advisory. She has all through been achieving distinctions by being topper of school, her college and then finally as Gold medalist (LL.B) in the University. She has also done Master of Business laws from NLSIU, Bangalore and a certificate course in cyber laws from Indian Law Institute. She started her career as a practicing lawyer with an Advocate on record in Supreme Court of India, wherefrom she moved to a full service Law firm, M.V. Kini & Co.

Her inclination to do general corporate legal work made her make a move to the corporate world, wherein, she worked in corporations like DuPont, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Avaya Global Connect, Honeywell and Pearson. She has managed legal, compliance, secretarial and risk management portfolios with team and work in various jurisdictions including South Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, and Singapore.

She believes in impeccable integrity and high personal ethics. She supported a multi-billion-dollar transaction deal as the sole in-house Indian legal advisor for her previous company and had also set a precedent by having liabilities limited on a multi-million-dollar deal with the Ministry of Defense.

Ms. Kulshreshtha has worked on various divestitures, acquisitions and mergers at a Global level. She drove a culture of integrity compliance, and accountability throughout every organization by introducing and working on various initiatives. She has handled teams comprising of members from different countries including professionals from Europe and Asia pacific. She helps the business devise high level strategies and standard procedures to protect and safeguard intellectual property rights and brand of the company. As part of Global Legal teams of various organizations, she had been responsible for her own region/ cluster and for managing major/complex programs/ cross-border transactions. She has ensured efficient and effective handling of critical and strategic disputes.

She has advised cross-functional teams on a broad range of legal subjects including corporate, commercial, intellectual property rights, employment, data protection, company ethics and regulatory matters ensuring informed decision-making pertinent to strategic as well as tactical business plans. She keeps track of the major trends emerging in the field of governmental policy/legislative field and develops strategies and suggests concomitant proactive measures anticipating risks and new legal developments. She has facilitated implementation of new processes/ procedures across internal groups to instill core knowledge/competence on legal issues in conformity with organization’s global operations. She acted as Chairperson and a trainer/ advisor to ICC for POSH matters in navigating them handle the proceedings more effectively.

Ms. Kulshreshtha featured as Top General Counsel in Forbes India Legal Powerlist 2021. She also received General Counsel of the year 2019 (Education sector) award from Indian National Bar Association and Star Women Lawyer of the Year award by Legal Era in 2022.
