Bharat Vansh Bahadur is the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Akasa Air, India’s youngest and greenest airline. Bharat is a lawyer, who started his career with AZB & Partners, where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. Subsequently, Bharat worked with Gibson Dunn &Crutcher LLP as an associate attorney and registered foreign law practitioner in their Singapore office, where he advised clients on various cross-border M&A transactions. Prior to joining Akasa Air, Bharat was an Associate General Counsel, at IndiGo, India’s largest airline, with which he worked for over five years. Bharat is an alumni of the Doon School, Dehradun and completed his law graduation from Delhi and has also recently completed an executive leadership programme at the Indian School of Business.
