S. Sunder Krishnan is the Chief Risk Officer at LIC. A Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he has extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and internal audit.

With 18 years at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, Sunder Krishnan has also held leadership roles at DSP Merrill Lynch, ING Vysya, Credit Lyonnais Bank, and Bank International Indonesia, as well as senior management positions at Ernst & Young. He has served on the Standing Committee for Finance and Investments (IRDAI) and was the President of ISDCA, Mumbai.
